“Today it is not easy, but when was it easy? Today, like so many times when an Argentinian needed it, here we are,” says a voice-over that invite to collaborate in the 55th edition of the More for Less Collection, which will take place on the weekend of September 7 and 8, organized by the Commission for Aid to the Most Needy Regions of the Argentine Episcopal Conference.
“We Argentines know better than anyone about effort, unity, looking each other in the eyes and without saying anything, rolling up our sleeves and moving forward. In these years many things have happened to us and always, always, we overcome them in the same way: by all working together,” states the call, in line with this year’s motto: “To save ourselves we must come together and roll up our sleeves.”

To this end, on the weekend of September 7 and 8 there will be urns in parishes, schools, chapels and Catholic institutions. In addition, the proceeds from the Mass collections will be used for this purpose.
The collection also receives donations throughout the year through different means: MercadoPago with QR code, credit cards, transfers and bank deposits, or through any PagoFácil branch in the country.
The collection will allow us to continue responding to a wide variety of projects such as children’s and soup kitchens, construction and repair of homes, work ventures, support for children’s homes and nursing homes, construction and equipment of multipurpose rooms, support for establishments educational centers, health centers, arts and crafts workshops, and for carrying out pastoral work.
