With this initiative, it seeks to “invite reflection on a highly sensitive issue in our society, and that fully compromises the dignity of women,” as it is exposed in a statement.
At the same time, the campaign “raises the need not to closed, from reductionist approaches, a debate of deep anthropological, social, educational, philosophical and even economic implications.”
On the basis of the maxim proclaimed by Simone de Beauvoir, philosopher and French feminist activist, “Woman is not born: it becomes it”, the ACDP highlights that “although the feelings and decisions of the individual can influence his life, the nature of reality cannot be altered at the craving of the subject, although he affirms currents of thought, philosophical fashions or praxis activists ”.

This is the third campaign of the ACDP relative to Women’s Day. Last year, he focused on the figure of the servant of God Isabel la Católica, as a woman’s model for the 21st century; In 2023, motherhood was claimed, and in 2021 he dedicated himself to highlighting the virtues of “The best woman”, Gathered in the Virgin Mary.
