Dr. María José Mancino, founder and president of Doctors for Life in Argentina, proposed 8 principles for doctors to always defend life, especially in the face of the threats of abortion and euthanasia.
On Saturday, March 26, 2022, the Dr. Mancino published a letter to doctors on Instagram, on the day when a massive march for life was held. In it he demanded the repeal of the abortion law approved by the Senate in December 2020, and which was promoted by the president of Argentina, Alberto Fernández.
The participants then demanded the urgent comprehensive implementation of the “law of a thousand days” to provide “a real response to the problems that so many women and families in our province are going through,” and the transformation of the actions of the civil society in the care of vulnerable pregnancies.
