In the month that the Church dedicates especially to devotion and love to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Catholic Encyclopedia (EC) of ACI Prensa shares 33 beautiful ejaculations that can serve the faithful devotees.
In statements to ACI Prensa, José Gálvez Krüger, director of the EC, said that the Thirty-three aspirations to Our Lord Jesus Christ and his Sacred Heart It helps “devotes of the Sacred Heart and the Holy Eucharist to move from superficial sympathy to full affection.”

Then, he continued, devotees can move “from full affection to the honor and adoration of that deific heart, and consequently to the perpetual adoration of the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar.”
These 33 meditations, he highlighted, are “one for each year of the Lord’s life.”
The ejaculations: An intimate communication with the Sacred Heart
Gálvez Krüger explained that “devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus is a special form of devotion to Christ.”
The Catholic Encyclopedia, in its section on Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesuspoints out that “the word heart awakens in us, first of all, the idea of the vital organ that beats in our chest and which we know, although perhaps vaguely, is intimately connected not only with our physical life, but also with our moral and emotional.
Furthermore, the EC highlights that this “relationship also explains that the heart of flesh is universally accepted as an emblem of our moral and emotional life, and that by association, the word heart occupies the place it has in symbolic language and that word applies equally to the very things that are symbolized by the heart.”
A “dialogue” with the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Gálvez Krüger highlighted that “devotion to the Heart of Jesus is a personal relationship between Christ and each person who professes devotion to him. It is a conversation or dialogue from heart to heart. As in any personal relationship, the more the related people know each other, the more strong will be the reciprocal bond”.
“Christ knows Humanity perfectly, but the devotee can only know Christ by trusting Him, consecrating Him, imitating Him, and obeying His commands,” he assured.
