More than three centuries ago, Christ appeared to Santa Margarita María de Alacoque and transmitted a series of revelations, including the 12 promises he was going to grant to those who consecrate themselves to his sacred heart.
Santa Margarita de Alacoque reported that she was praying in front of the Blessed Sacrament, when for the first time the Lord communicated “the inexplicable secrets of his sacred heart.”

Then, in a second revelation, the saint told that Jesus communicated to her “the burning desire she had to be loved by men and separate them from the path of perdition, in which Satan precipitates them in a large number”, and began to share the 12 promises he would make to his devotees.
Santa Margarita explained that Christ wanted him to express “his heart to men, with all the treasures of love, mercy, thanks, sanctification and salvation he contains”, so that those who give up love, honor and glory “are enriched abundantly and profusely with the divine treasures of the heart of God.”
The 12 promises of the Sacred Heart

1. To the souls consecrated to my heart, I will thank you for your state.
2. I will give peace to families.
3. I will comfort them in all their afflictions.
4. I will be its amparo and sure refuge during life, and mainly at the time of death.
5. I will spill abundant blessings on your companies.
6. Sinners will find in my heart the source and the infinite ocean of mercy.
7. Warm souls will become fervent.
8. fervent souls will quickly rise to great perfection.
9. I will bless the houses in which the image of my sacred heart is exposed and honored.
10. I will give priests the grace to move the inveterate hearts.
11. People who spread this devotion will have written their name in my heart and will never be erased from it.
12. To all who commune nine on Friday of the month, the omnipotent love of my heart will grant them the grace of final perseverance.
Conditions to get the thanks promised by the Sacred Heart of Jesus
1. Receive without interruption the sacred communion for first consecutive Fridays.
2. Have the intention of honoring the Sacred Heart of Jesus and achieving final perseverance.
3. Offer each sacred communion as an act of atonement for the offenses committed against the Blessed Sacrament.

Oh God, that in your child’s heart,
injured by our sins,
You have deposited infinite charity treasures;
We ask you that, by paying the tribute of our love,
Let’s offer a fulfillment reparation.
